Finely detailed estate diamond crown pendant by Leitao & Irmao (limited edition - 1442/2017).
Crafted in Portuguese 19k yellow gold, the beautiful medallion features a crown with diamond surround. Leitao & Irmao are jewelers to the Portuguese and Brazilian Imperial Crown since 1822, known for high-quality hand-crafted jewelry made by master goldsmiths and jewelers. All pieces made by the house are exclusive and limited editions. The pendant is great worn alone as a statement piece or layered.
The pendant is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
The piece was acquired on a recent trip to Portugal, one of Europe's most exciting destinations for discovering exceptional antique and vintage jewelry. Portugal's thriving antiques community, historic markets, and renowned art and antiques fairs provided access to remarkable jewelry with provenance, exceptional beauty and character. Stones: Diamonds total an estimated 0.34 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS1-SI1 clarity).
Size & Measurements: The pendant measures 1.25 inches in length (including the bale) and 0.90 inches wide. The bale measures 3mm wide to accommodate a thin to medium thick chain.
Metal & Hallmark:
19k yellow gold. The pendant is stamped with the Portuguese Deer head .800 fineness mark for 19.2k gold and dates to post 1985. Also stamped is "Leitao" and "1442/2017"
