Overview:
Stylish vintage Grosse Germany lapis lazuli & diamond cocktail ring (circa 1972) crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Two round cut pieces of lapis lazuli measures 13mm each, accented with three estimated 0.05 carat diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.15 carats (estimated at G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The lapis is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.
The ring is made by Grosse of Germany and was made in 1972. The design of the ring exudes unique style and highlights the brutalist design movement that was popular during the 1970s. The statement ring adds a nice pop of color on the hand. The high rise ring (12mm - 0.47 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
