Distinct and unusual vintage cocktail ring, crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Eighteen 2.5mm opals frame the painted oval ceramic in a distinct navette mount. The woman is painted with elaborate coiffed hair in full dress & mask. The opals show a vivid color matrix from green to blue, red, yellow and bits or turquoise and purple. Note: slight chip to one opal (visible under a 10x loupe).
