Finely detailed vintage French Art Deco era engagement ring (circa 1920s to 1930s), crafted in 18 karat yellow gold & 900 platinum.
Centrally mounted estimated 0.15 carat old European cut diamond is accented with a further 14 estimated 0.02 carat to 0.08 carat old rose cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.69 carats (estimated at H-I color and VS2-SI1 clarity). Calibre cut rubies are channel set into the ends of the mount, estimated at 0.02 carats each (0.12 carats total estimated weight).
Elegant and feminine details abound with the stylized oval mount. The under gallery mount features intricated scrolled detail, terminating to the lively Old European cut center set diamond. An original Art Deco era ring in lovely condition showing very minimal wear with a light patina evident and crisp details.
