Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian era snake ring crafted in 14 karat rose & yellow gold (circa 1880s to 1900s).
One old mine cut diamond is estimated at 0.20 carats (estimated at I-J color and I1 clarity).
The snake intertwines around the band with an old mine cut diamond set into the head. The scale like patterned design extends around the entire band and is showing signs of wear. The ring sits flat and comfortably on the finger, ideal worn alone or stacked with your fine jewelry from any era. For centuries snakes have represented faithfulness and eternal love. Due to the design we do not recommend resizing the ring.
The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
