Overview:

Sweet antique Victorian era ring (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

Cabochon cut opal measures 12mm x 10mm (estimated at 3.50 carats). The opal is in good condition with light surface abrasions evident under a 10x loupe).

The simple and elegant claw design highlights the colorful natural opal. The opal shows a vivid and bright color matrix in natural sunlight with flashes of green, purple, turquoise and bits of yellow. The ring has a medium profile and rises 10mm from the finger (0.39 inches), ideal worn alone as a statement ring or stacked.

The ring is in good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
