Overview:
Beautifully detailed antique Victorian lapis lazuli crest ring (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Lapis lazuli measures 9mm x 7.5mm. The lapis is in good condition (few light surface abrasions visible under a 10x loupe from wear over the years).
The Victorian era ring is set with a lapis lazuli intaglio depicting a family crest with a Latin inscription to the base. The beautifully detailed shoulders feature a scrolling foliate design. A wonderful example of Victorian era jewelry in very good original condition. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
