Overview:
Elegant and finely detailed antique necklace (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Two faceted round cut citrines each measure 10mm (estimated at 3.50 carats each - 7 carats total estimated weight). The natural freeform seed pearls measure (average) 3.5mm. The pearls are embedded into the chain along with the two pendant drops.
The two-tired seed pearl embedded chain is a feast for the eyes. The shorter chain measures 21 inches and the longer chain measures 23 inches. The drop measures 1 3/4 inches in length. The two square gold drops at the base of the necklace is set with warm golden hued citrines from a t-bar attachement. Accenting the citrines is a black enameled scrolled design. The clasp is a textured barrel design with a slip lock enclosure. A rich piece to wear on its own or layered with your other fine necklaces from any era.
The necklace is in excellent original condition. We have not cleaned the necklace in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
