Antique Seed Pearl Gypsy Band Victorian Ring c1899 18k Gold Chester Vintage 6.25

$621.00

Overview:

Finely detailed antique Victorian gypsy ring set with 5 graduated seed pearls (circa 1899), crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.

The graduated seed pearls range from 1mm to 3mm (center set pearl). The pearls all appear original to the mount with color variance evident. The outer seed pearls have a darker color to them.

The 5 seed pearl gypsy setting was a popular style in the Victorian era. The low profile of the ring allows the band to sit quite flat and very comfortably on the finger. The ring is great for stacking, worn as wedding band or promise band. The rings features Chester (UK) hallmarks.

The ring was sourced on our recent buying trip to Wales.

The ring is in very good condition.
