Distinct and unique vintage insect ring crafted in 14 karat yellow gold (circa 1970s).
Diamonds total an estimated 0.02 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI1-I1 clarity). Fluted sodalite measures 20mm x 10mm. Two small rubies are set into the eyes.
The elaborate insect is set with fluted sodalite to the body, with small diamonds to the head and ruby set eyes. The double wings add dimension to the beautifully made ring. We love how the insect sits perched on your finger. The medium rise ring (15mm - 0.59 inches) sits comfortably on the hand.
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
