Stylish opal & diamond ring crafted in 14 karat white gold (circa 1960s to 1970s).
Natural cabochon cut opal measures 25mm x 16mm (estimated at 20 carats). 32 diamonds total an estimated 0.80 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI1-I1 clarity). The opal is in good condition and free of chips (light crazing evident and visible under a 10x loupe).
Large in scale, the oval cut opal displays a vibrant spectrum of colors from bright green to purple, turquoise, orange, red and yellow. Framed with diamonds the ring makes a great statement on the hand with a medium rise (13mm - 0.51 inches).
