Overview:
Stylish semi black opal & diamond cocktail ring crafted in 900 platinum.
Cabochon cut natural semi-black opal, 7.86 carats (15.44 x 13.09 x 6.18mm). The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips. The opal exhibits a distinct blue/green play of color on a translucent dark gray background, no visible inclusions, good cut. Surrounding the opal is 22 full cut round diamonds, total weight approx. 0.71ct, G-H color, VS-SI qualities, good cuts.
The opals lights up in natural sunlight, showing a strong blue/green color matrix. The cocktail ring is larger in size and makes a nice statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (13mm - 0.51 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
