Overview:
Finely detailed antique Victorian opal & diamond 'moi et toi' ring crafted in 10k yellow gold (circa 1880s to 1900s).
Two opals each measure 5mm, accented with 20 estimated 0.01 carat old rose cut diamonds. The diamonds total an estimated 0.20 carats (estimated at J-K color and I2-3 clarity). The opals are in good condition and free of cracks or chips.
The distinct and stylish ring is a nice example of the romance of Victorian era jewelry. The opal & diamond 'Moi et Toi' design is a French term for "Me and You". Ideal worn as a right hand ring or as an alternative engagement ring. The mount has a slightly curved dome for a comfortable fit on the finger. The ring has a low rise from the finger (4mm - 0.15 inches). The rose cut diamonds offer a soft and subtle sparkle.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
