Vintage Insect Ring Amethyst Diamond 14k Yellow Gold Sz 6 Movable Charm Jewelry

Overview:

Stylish vintage amethyst & diamond insect ring (circa 1960s to 1970s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

Faceted round cut amethyst measures 7mm with the smaller amethyst measuring 4.5mm. Four small diamonds are set into the wings totaling an estimated 0.02 carats (estimated at I-J color and I1 clarity). The amethysts are in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.

The nicely detailed ring features an amethyst set inset, attached to the band in a loose position that allows it to move on the finger. The unique ring makes a nice statement on the hand. The low rise ring (7mm - 0.27 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
