Antique Victorian Owl Conversion Ring Sapphire Ruby 10k Yellow Gold Fine Jewelry

$1,264.00

Overview:

Originally an antique Victorian era stick pin (circa 1880s to 1900s), the owl is crafted in 10 karat yellow gold.

The owl is mounted with the original stick pin. Our jeweler rounded the stick pin into a slim band for the finger. The owl is perched on the mount and sits nicely on the finger. The owl is beautifully detailed as it sits on a branch with feathered detail to the chest. The French cut sapphires are a medium royal blue color and show lovely sparkle. The ruby set eyes offer color and contrast to the ring. The owl is a mystical bird and traditionally is a symbol of wisdom, truth, patience and knowledge.

The French cut sapphires are estimated at 0.02 to 0.03 carats and total an estimated 0.16 carats. The rubies are estimated at 0.01 carats each. The gemstones are in excellent condition and free or cracks or chips.

The ring is in excellent condition.
