Overview:
Finely detailed vintage figa charm crafted in 18k yellow gold.
Coral is carved in the form of a hand, measuring 1 1/2 x 1/2 inch in length. Six pieces of turquoise are estimated at 0.05 carats each (0.30 carats total estimated weight).
The classic figa charm is carved in coral, with an elaborate 18k gold cap and bale along with a movable turquoise set bracelet. The well known talisman dates back nearly 8,000 years, with a clenched first and thumb protruding between the index and middle finger. Known as protection from the evil eye along with being a popular good luck charm. The figa is large in scale and makes a great statement.
The charm is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
