Antique Edwardian Shield Ring c1913 15k Gold Agate Signet 9 Men's Fine Jewelry

$2,121.00

Overview:

Antique Edwardian era agate shield signet ring (circa 1913), crafted in 15 karat yellow gold.
The agate measures 15mm x 13mm. The agate is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips (note: light surface abrasions visible under a 10x loupe).

The large signet ring is set with blue agate to the center and exhibits a lovely milky like sheen. At one point the signet had an etched design to the underside of the mount yet this has worn down over time. The ring is yellow gold with a soft rosy overtone. The gold is soft to the touch from years of wear. A great collector's piece and a fine example of Edwardian era crafted jewelry. The ring features several English hallmarks (see below) that circa date and identify where the ring was made.

The ring is in good condition.
