Finely detailed antique Victorian folding picture locket (circa 1860s to 1880s), crafted in 14k yellow gold.

The beautifully detailed locket opens to accommodate 4 photos, with two secret compartments to both ends of the locket. The top of the locket features finely detailed decorative scrolled hearts. Two hinged handles secure the locket on both sides. Lockets were popular during the Victorian era, a time capsule and remembrance of loved ones. The locket is ideal worn as a pendant on a chain or worn as a charm on a bracelet.

The locket is in good condition showing light wear. We have not cleaned the locket in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
