Overview:
Elegant and finely detailed antique Victorian necklace, crafted in 14 karat yellow gold. Attached to the necklace is a 14 karat yellow gold dog medallion pendant by Ruser (circa 1950s).
Two estimated 0.01 carat rubies are set into the dogs eyes (0.02 carats total estimated weight).
The Victorian chain was originally a watch fob and has a very soft tinge of rose gold. The large oval links feature a slight twist adding visual interest. The necklace is finished with an a spring ring and antique clasp. Attached to the necklace is a mediallion by Ruser of what we believe is a Bull Terrier dog. The medallion pendant is a later addition to the necklace. More charms or pendants can be added to the necklace if desired for a layered piece that is unique to you. The hefty necklace (80 grams) has a nice weighty feel around the neck. Certainly a statement piece.
The necklace is in excellent original condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
