Antique Victorian Conversion Ring Diamond Pearl Crescent Moon Star 14k Gold

$685.00

Overview:

Originally an antique Victorian era stick pin (circa 1880s to 1900s), the crescent moon ring is crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

The ring is mounted with the original stick pin. Our jeweler rounded the stick pin into a slim band for the finger. The striking crescent moon is set with a graduation of old mine cut diamonds with a pearl set into the star. The crescent moon is a feminine symbol, representing the rhythm of time. The moon also symbolizes change as it turns to a full moon and back, much like the ebb and flow of life. In Victorian times brides often wore jewelry with a crescent moon motif on their honeymoon.

The old mine cut diamonds graduate in size from 0.02 to 0.03 carats. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.21 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI1-2 clarity). The pearl is 3mm.

The ring is in very good condition.
